........faces ashine with
.....interplanetary radiance.

When there is nothing but ruin and cosmic injustice
the heart-beam strengthens its thread.

When the colossal disintegration of the world
tumbles down around it,
the heart calmly opens its chambers
....to the floodlights of statements
made in stellar corridors
.......by more than human speakers

of how this world is the single flick of a shutter
where our actions are soaked in light
to develop the imprint of their deepest intentions
and test their temper.

When the house dissolves the inhabitant wakes up.

When the body flakes away, and all it holds dear,
the heart in its furnace

opens wide slats to coolness

and a valley unfolds

across which
white horses with wind-churning movements

flash as nothing else can
past cliffs in their stillness.
